The error code 19 with the message “readErr” or “sNoPK 2” appears on the Mac device while using any program on Mac. You can fix Mac Error Code 19 on the system by understanding the cause of the problem and then using the following solutions that are given below;

  • See if the macOS you are using on the device is updated to its latest version. If it is not, then go ahead to update the software.
  • Click the Apple icon at the top-left corner of the dock, and a list of options appears.
  • Select the System Preferences option and then choose Software Update.
  • If the update is available, click the Update Now button to update the Mac software.
  • Then, you can set the settings to automatically update the software by ticking the checkbox beside the Automatically keep my Mac up to date menu.
  • A simple solution is to restart the system and verify whether the error is solved or exists. If the error persists, then try other solutions.
  • Start the system in Safe mode and check if the Mac error code 19 has been fixed. Follow the procedure to start Mac in safe mode;
  • Restart the Mac computer and while it is restarting, press the Shift key until you see the Apple or spinning globe logo on the screen.
  • After you release the Shift key, you will see Apple’s login window.
  • In case the system is protected, then you have to enter the password to access the login window.
  • Following that, the System Information window displays. Verify whether the Boot Mode is showing ‘Safe.’
