METHOD 1: Re-register Windows Installer
Since the problem can be because of the corrupt Windows Installer, re-registering the Installer should be your first step.
- Open the Run command (Windows key + R).
- Enter msiexec /unreg in the Run command and press the Enter button.
- The Windows Installer will be unregistered from your Windows computer.
- Now to re-register the Windows Installer back on your Windows computer.
- Open the Run command again, enter the msiexec /regserver command, and press the Enter button.
- The Windows Installer will be registered back on your computer.

METHOD 2: Run CCleaner and Malwarebytes

- Now, right-click on the Temp folder and select the Properties option.
- Click the Security tab and click the Advanced button at the bottom of the window.
- Select the Add button.
- The Permission window will now open.
- In the Basic Permissions section, click the checkbox near option Full Control option and click the OK button.
- Restart your computer.
Once the computer restarts, try installing Fortnite and check if the Fortnite installer error code 2503 occurs again.
