Solved: QuickBooks Error 6010

  • The QuickBooks error 6010 is caused when the antivirus software tool or the network firewall does not let the QuickBook use the network.
  • The .nd network files of QuickBooks can contain errors, or the data might have got deleted.
  • The cleaning tools may have removed the QuickBooks registry files.

  • Try to reinstall the QuickBooks on your device by following the steps,
  • Before uninstalling the QuickBooks, backup the files.
  • Open the Control Panel on your device and select Programs and Features.
  • Click on the Uninstall program.
  • Select the QuickBooks from the list of applications and choose Uninstall.
  • To reinstall, first, download the new install file using the link 
  • When the download is completed, open the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  • Then, click on the Clean Install Tool.
  • Select Ok, choose the product version, and click Continue.
  • When the message window appears asking to install to the default location, select Ok.
  • After this Clean Install Tool is installed, install the QuickBooks Desktop from the link
  • If the .nd file is damaged, the company file will not open. To rename the file, right-click on the file and change the extension from ‘.nd’ to ‘old.’

  • Scan the company file from the QuickBooks Database Server Manager by performing these steps
  • Open Quickbooks and select the Database Server Manager.
  • Next, click on Scan Folders. If the files are not present, then add the files and again scan the files.
  • Now, open the files and check your company files.
