Try with an alternative USB cable

  • Due to several reasons, a hard drive fails to show up on your computer. Before you try out the troubleshooting techniques, it is recommended to check the connections between your printer and the computer.
  • Check whether the connection is firm enough at both ends. Disconnect the USB cable and reconnect it. Also, check whether any damage is there on your USB cable.
